TRANSPOSE Dissemination & Education meeting
TRANSPOSE - TRANSfusion and transplantation: PrOtection and Selection of donors - is a European consortium project, including partners from 16 countries, reviewing donor selection and protection policies for substances of human origin (SoHO). One of the main issues in the current donor selection system, which TRANSPOSE aims to tackle, is that most criteria are not evidence-based. The TRANSPOSE consortium tried to re-assess selection criteria, revised them and provided recommendations as evidence-based as possible. TRANSPOSE will provide suggestions to improve directives and guidelines and a Donor Health Questionnaire, focusing on both donor health protection and safety of donations. Please, find here attached the leaflet with further information about the project and a Save the date to mark in your calendars the Dissemination and Education meeting, that will be held in Rome on February 24 -25, 2020.
