Graphic Medicine for Better Interprofessional Education & Collaboration
The next webinar on "Graphic Medicine for Better Interprofessional Education & Collaboration" will be presented on Wednesday January 8, 2020 at 15:00 CET by Justin Kreuter.
Justin Kreuter is program director for the Mayo Clinic transfusion medicine fellowship and associate medical director of the histocompatibility laboratory. His primary passion is being a medical educator. He is an alumnus of the Harvard Macy Institute program for educators in health professions as well as the University of Toronto program for educating health professionals in interprofessional care. Please connect with Justin on twitter, @KreuterMD.
In this webinar, we will examine the potential value of graphic medicine for our transfusion medicine community. We are starting to see examples of comics being used for medical education, professional development, and public health. This medium appears to be effective at engaging a diverse audience, which is particularly critical for improving transfusion practice in the clinical environment.
